The early modernity's mishaps
Research abstract
We aim to investigate the historical-conceptual elaboration that Hegel makes, in the Phenomenology of Spirit, regarding the modern individualismo, specifically what he calls active reason, as well as Spirit’s figures like the disrupted consciousness and the beautiful soul. This investigation will focus on this consciousness's figures, revealing the the dialectic between singularity and universality present there, but it will also operate a comparison of these figures with the examination of the beginning of modernity made by Hegel in other works of his.
