The peace and the social order on Augustine's The city of God
Research abstract
The research intends to investigate whether it is possible to identify in Augustine's text a type of political philosophy that does not appear as in the tradition, with instructions and principles of good government, but on the contrary, from a bottom-up movement, it is mainly concerned with the virtue of the citizen. In this sense, obedience to the rules of faith and the Christian's conduct should be the model of the ideal citizen.
