The reflection of arete of the archaic Greek women and the consequences for the distribution of the roles in the polis in the political models of Plato and Aristotle
Research abstract

It is seen in the Classical Greece a democratic model of life in which there are some remmants of Homeric aristocracy. That shows how important Homero was in the formation of the young Greeks. In the homeric epics we perceive that the female characters, many times, act according to the heroes. In the metaphisycal theories of Plato and Aristotle we can perceive how their proposals influence in how they see the world also in political matters, in a way that while the model proposed by Plato does not imply a gender difference, in the model proposed by Aristotle, in an unconclusive way, it is tried to keep women in a lower position than men.
