The intention of the research is to understand a structural homology between the categories of Hegel's logic and the categories of Marx's economic writings regarding to methodological aspects, namely regarding to possible interactions between the concept of concept in the Hegelian dialectic and the concept of capital in Marx's late work. The Hegelian notion of concept finally implies a reintegration of the structure of relationality of what were two still distinct substances into a single structure, resulting in a self-reference of the concept, which makes itself its reality. What kind of implications can on derive from this if the Marxian concept of “capital” could be understood as a kind of translation into the materialist vocabulary of what Hegel encompassed by the concept of “concept”? How can the notion of Naturzweck, so particular to the Hegelian notion of concept, appear as a form in the analysis of capital and what implications can this reveal in methodological terms?
