This project aims to analyze the interactions between cognitive and non-cognitive values and scientific activities of neuroenhancement technologies. Neuroenhancement is embedded within human enhancement and is a generic term defined as the use of different strategies and technologies that aim to enhance human cognitive capabilities. This improvement in cognition without the presence of pathologies (considered within normal limits) would supposedly lead to better performance in different areas, such as academical and professional. However, this is a complex topic from which different types of discussions emerge such as ethical, philosophical, linguistic and social problems. Within these problems, this research aims to analyze the presence and impact of different perspectives of values in scientific activities of neuroenhancement technologies. For this, the central focus of analysis will be based on the model of interaction between scientific activities and values (M-CV) from Hugh Lacey.
