Research title
ENGELS, A CUTTING-EDGE EMERGENTIST? ENGELSIAN DIALECTICS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF CONTEMPORARY EMERGENTIST SYSTEMS THINKING
Research abstract
The following project aims to undertake a critical analysis of Friedrich Engels' Philosophy through the lens of contemporary emergentist systems thinking. The ultimate goal is to enhance the current scientific understanding of the theoretical assessment of the author, as well as to validate our initial research hypothesis that within the realm of Contemporary Philosophy of Science, Engels and his Dialectics have been effectively integrated and surpassed by the conceptual framework of the so-called systemic emergentism movement, with Engels himself being one of its foundational pioneers.
