NEUTRALITY IS SAID IN DIFFERENT WAYS: THE CRITIQUE OF SCIENTIFIC NEUTRALITY IN LACEY AND JAPIASSU.
Research abstract

The objective of this research project is to compare the conceptions of scientific neutrality in two authors, Hugh Lacey and Hilton Japiassu. Both, in some sense, deny that science is neutral, but the definition of neutrality, its denial and the implications of this denial, in each author, are different. With this project we intend to highlight these differences and extract their implications, as well as highlight certain convergences between the two authors.
