The main object of study of analysis of the research that I intend to carry out is the course: In defense of the Society, taught by Michel Foucault at the Collège de France between the years 1975 and 1976. The problem, that I present from the reading of the course is that: the shaken hypothesis of war and therefore the conception of foucault power, which happens in the last class of the course, would represent a problem to think the biopower and the State racism, the way they justify and operate, without the assumption of an internal war. The hypothesis, I want to address is that war is a fundamental part of the functioning of the biopower and for state racism to operate. Thus, government policies are only justified and effective, because there is in the foundation of society a tactical management of life, which operates through an internal war.
