Research abstract

This research examines August Wilhelm Schlegel's thought starting from a reflection of art through aesthetic and philosophical elements related to the early German Romanticism (Frühromantik). The work aims to identify Schlegel's concepts in the perception of art from a philosophical perspective in the essence of language, based on reciprocal relationship between theory, history and art criticism, to demonstrate how philosophy intensifies its aesthetic relationship with man. The aim is to relate aesthetic concepts to human existence in its close relationship with essential language, examining the origins of poetry and language with the scope of the importance of philosophical reflection in the understanding of art and human reality. Starting from the scope of poetry as a universal element inherent to all forms of artistic expression, the work concludes the thinking of this philosopher in the articulation of an understanding of philosophy on the axis of poetry, language and existence capable of unifying man and art in the dimension of language.
