This research aims to translate and interpret the late work of Hans-Georg Gadamer, which encompasses his aesthetics and poetics, in the light of a recognized tension that permeates these texts, which concerns the aesthetic and historical dimensions of art and interpretation. Though they haven't received as much attention from scholars, these texts provide completeness to the author's oeuvre, insofar as they can be read as a continuation and further elaboration of the ideas in Wahrheit und Methode. They enhance the sensible presence of art, attenuating the historical emphasis given to the artistic phenomenon in his primeval work, based on the singularity experienced in the attempt to understand poetry, especially modern German lyric.
