From the diversity of readings and interpretations of Machiavelli's ideas, this research seeks to bring us closer to the real purposes sheltered in his works, especially in his history of Florence. With this, it is intended to identify the elements that well order the republic in the ideas of this author. In this way, we will investigate here issues of great relevance and extensive critical content, starting from civil discords, his studies in Machiavelli and his different readings. In addition, we will study the opposition of moods in the composition of the conflict, its variations and consequences, as well as the benefit, placed in the work, relative to the preposition of laws in the conduct of the government of the cities, to the virtue of great men or political groups, respectively.
