The focus was on finalizing the second chapter and developing the third and final one. It was noted that the study of the relationship between language and consciousness was neglected during the 20th century. This raised the question of whether there is a link between these areas. An overview of the relationship was made, mobilizing the main theoretical currents based on those that point to the discursive use of language. This foundation made it possible to establish the human mind as essentially discursive. To this end, we outlined some of the properties of consciousness that allow us to allude to the observable properties of language. In other words, to base the relationship - and, above all, the interaction - between the areas on an intersection of the aspects of consciousness observable by introspection with the linguistic evidence of these same aspects, which are that consciousness is dynamic, and that the two main sources of information to which it has access are memory and imagination. Finally, the relationship shows that language makes the subjective aspects of consciousness shareable, enabling contact between the self and the other and the development of social activities.
