This project presents a research dedicated to the study of the relationship between the critique of reason and politics within the Critique of pure reason. The research seeks to situate itself in the face of two phenomena: firstly, the separation between the critique of reason and politics present in the rehabilitation of Kantian practical philosophy by important figures of contemporary political thought; secondly, works by Kant-Forschung that find in the legal and political metaphors of the first Critique a way of access to a comprehensive interpretation of the political meaning of critical inquiry. Our hypothesis is that the Critique of Pure Reason also has a political dimension, and the contours of this could be discerned in segments of the work in which Kant reflects on the very nature of his investigation through an exposition of the concept of critique of reason.
