The central intention of the research is to consider the status of Being and Time as initiate of a γιγαντομαχια περί τής ουσιας, that is, a clash of giants around the ousia, which is established under the aegis of the meaning of being. Understood as the nerve center of the 1927 work, the aim is to demonstrate how this re-engagement with the conflict, which needs to be structured through a destruction of tradition, occurs through phenomenology in its Heideggerian transformations, through which men and the world are rethought, and from which time is reached as a horizon of understanding all being. This clarity regarding the project of Being and Time and its philosophical movement enables a consideration of central points in the relationship that this work establishes with the second phase of Heidegger's thought, a relationship that we understand has become problematic with the so-called turn (kehre).
