Research title
THE TRUTH IN THE PROSE OF THE WORLD
Research abstract
This project proposes an investigation into the conception of truth in Maurice Merleau-Ponty's "The Prose of the World", focusing especially on the relationship between symbolism and ontology. It aims to understand how Merleau-Ponty maintains that the algorithm is a particular case of speech, both being expressive operations, and how this relates to the notion of truth and the cumulative history of knowledge. Its objective is to articulate Merleau-Ponty's conception of truth, seeking to integrate aspects of his philosophy of language, ontology and theory of expression. Its hypothesis consists of the notion of "modulation of being" as an organizer of the foundations of expressive operations and their inter-compatibility.
