The reinscription of violence in colonial space (body-territory)
Research abstract

The project “The reinscription of violence in colonial space (body-territory)” reads the contemporary production on raciality and coloniality from two phenomena that seem to haunt the experience of life and death in racial-colonial space (body-territory): 1) the continuous reinscription of violence; b) Why does anyone seem to care enough about it? Within philosophy, the task is to understand how race and colonization operate in the contemporary, i.e., not as a mark of the past, but in the actualization of the expropriation of native bodies and lands - reinscribing violence and making an ethical crisis impossible, as Denise Ferreira da Silva defends. In this way, the intention is not to explain violence, but to invest in an approach that offers a reading of the radical dimension that the demand for the end of racial-colonial subjugation holds.
