Research title
Language and Hermeneutics in Kierkegaard
Research abstract

The project aims to investigate the concept of language and hermeneutics in Kierkegaard. It is not just a question of showing that language plays a central role in his work, but of arguing that it is the most urgent concern of the philosopher in question. The aim is to show that themes such as the subject's relationship with divinity and with the other, the construction of an epistemology, as well as the understanding of what despair and anguish are, are interconnected, and that the link between these issues is language. With this in mind, the aim of the project is to show how language, having this fundamental role, is also linked to aesthetics, understood as the formation of the subject.
