Research title
The meanings of work in Hegel: Possibilities of understanding work in contemporary times from the philosophy of spirit.
Research abstract

The research project aims to analyze the convergence of the meanings of work presented by Hegel throughout different moments of his work, namely, Phenomenology of the Spirit and Philosophy of Right, paying particular attention to the possibility of relating more or less directly forms work according to its role played in the dialectic of master and slave in the social world that concerns the relations of work and production, which in his work occupies the specific point of the objective spirit. In this sense, it is important to emphasize, in order to make such an analysis viable, the systematic aspect of Hegel's work, establishing a dialogue between the different parts that make up the author's philosophical whole. There is also the intention of verifying the relevance of Hegel's work to deal with contemporary work problems, evidently emphasizing the author's proposal to characterize philosophy as an apprehension of time in thought. In this way, it is necessary to observe the particularities of the present time and highlight any limits that exist in the Hegelian formulation, seeking to bring present philosophy up to speed with its task.
