Research title
On arts in Graeco-Latin texts
Research abstract

By continuing previous studies on Graeco-Roman arts, not only has the field of definitions expanded, but also the investigation of public and private uses of works of art, with their implications in law, commerce, war, religion and politics. The practical consideration revealed dimensions most often diminished in historiography, leading to the appreciation of historical texts, here translated and commented. As a whole, multiple perspectives intersect differently, as the genres of discourse, such as the judicial and the deliberative in Cicero and the demonstrative in Aristeas, were not neglected, producing the aspect of a work not regulated by the instructive.
