Research title
A conception of free will for the science of the Mind and the Brain.
Research abstract

The research “A Conception of Free Will for the Science of the Mind and the Brain” has as main purposes: (i) to present emblematic neuroscience experiments related to the theme of free will, emphasizing its many divergences and seeking a lowest common denominator between its results and conclusions, or at least trade-offs for open questions; (ii) to develop a physical-neural model and a conceptual model for free will, supported, respectively, by the hypothesis of brain metastability and by the notions of ordering preferences and deliberation, which seek to reconcile free will with the limits imposed by neuroscientific evidence.
