"This research aims to establish the links between the writing process of the novel ""The Learning Years of Wilhelm Meister"" and the philosophical Schillerian project, crystallized in a more finished way in the project of ""Letters on Aesthetic Education"". With this, we intend to demonstrate the genesis of Bildung's idea from philosophical concepts originating from Kant, as well as the tensions of the idea of formation from the perspective of Jena's Romanticism and Weimar's Classicism, philosophical and literary currents arising in the same historical context, that of the so-called Goethezeit.
