Structure and Dialectics in Merleau-Ponty
Research abstract
Our research aims to explore the relationship between structure and dialectics present in Merleau-Ponty's first doctoral thesis, The Structure of Behavior. Our objective is to indicate that Merleau-Ponty proposes his own idea of dialectics, which is a central key in the elaboration of his notion of structure and in the overcoming of traditional antinomies between nature and consciousness, body and soul.
