Research title
Heidegger's confrontation with Aesthetics
Research abstract

It is about investigating the aesthetic on Martin Heidegger's thought, from an analysis of the essay The Origin of The Work of Art. What Heidegger does when he's thematizing art is not an attempt to elaborate a new aesthetic in face of German idealism's aesthetics. In fact, as we expose, the task of questioning art and, therefore, aesthetic aims to release a realm of thought for an ontological interrogation, the Being's question. The aesthetic, grown up in the midst of Modernity - a crucial moment in the history of Being's oblivion - conceals a place where Being appears in a privileged way.
