This work intend to investigate the notion of political refoundation in Machiavelli. Therefore, it shall be necessary it shall be necessary to approach recurrents themes of the work of florentine diplomat, as such the limits of political action, corruption and its foundation. The hypothesis to be defended in the study is that such refoundation, in the machiavellin work, constitutes a precarious form of political action and marked for the incompleteness to seek an equilibrium between past and present. In this sense, the refoundation would have as main feature to be an intermediary political action between the innovation and the conservation, seeking to restore or renew an original authority of political body, but that only would precariously fulfill by the imitation, nor complete neither literal, of the founder act. After all, the investigated notion would express, better that any other, the precariousness and the boundaries of any political action, as well as to settle a stable ground to the political body and the logic of social reproduction.
