REALISM, UNDERDETERMINATION AND RIVAL THEORIES IN COSMOLOGY
Research abstract
This project aims to study and analyze the following problems of an epistemological and of philosophy of science nature: scientific realism and antirealism, underdetermination, and the role of theory choice and theory change in the context of contemporary cosmology, especially about dark matter. Additionally, it aims to study and analyze the debate between the ΛCDM and MOND models from the perspective of the philosophy of science methodology.
