This work aims to develop an analysis of the feeling of unheimlich in Freudian work, more precisely based on the text “Das Unheimliche”, together with the conceptual construction of Schiller's feeling of the sublime, with an emphasis on the pathetic and tragic art. Here we work on an approximation between both concepts and the importance that each of the authors gave to the feeling that worked to form the horizon of culture.
