Love and freedom in Heidegger and Sartre
Research abstract
My research aims to establish both Heidegger’s and Sartre’s understanding concerning the theme of love, searching to comprehend the existing approaches and the distancing to both conceptions. As a research hypothesis, I sustain that both philosophers find each other in the relationship between love and freedom. To Heidegger, there is love only in freedom. To Sartre, however, it seems to exist love in freedom but also in bad faith.
